Here I am
Alive, I am dead
My soul dying
My heart breaking
My eyes crying
My flame fading
In the end
I never thought it'd be you
All I wanted was for you to love me
You left me hanging on to nothing
Watching me as I fall
You never tried to save me
You pretended you never knew me at all
Seemed to me you hoped i'd fail
So here I am
Alive I am dead
Trying to escape to another day
Betrayed and alone i stand
Wanting what i do not have
Hating everything I am
Still I wish you could love me
Wanting you to comfort me
My heart gone and forgotten
Cold and angry
Hating and afraid
Here, I fear I will remain
