Ahead Of Life. Poem by Jodie Louise Pollock

Ahead Of Life.

Rating: 4.5

My stomach trembling with anxiety and fear,
As I can see what's ahead so clear,
Whispering comforting words to ease the pain,
As I see that nothing will ever be the same,
Maybe it's fate and will be okay,
Maybe it weren't meant to happen today,
Why would I do this,
Why would I ever do this,
I am just a normal girl,
Caught up in all the unfairness of the world,
Maybe there is something better out there,
The question to be asked is where,
I'm walking closer to where it is,
My bodys frozen and my heads just a fizz,
Ahead of me that's where abouts,
Ahead of me, any doubts,
Where would I be if I weren't here,
That image is not so clear,
Being where I am is all I see,
Nodody caring about little old me.
