Agony Poem by Hanan Muzafar

Agony

How long agony shall,
keep us confined,
with time you loose,
old and broken, Isn't it eternal?

How long can you escape;
I remember,
we used to catch,
dragon flies in paddy fields;
Don't know how many He met,
and all lead him to absolute:
Who knows, what's next?

How long you deny,
Your reflection doesn't lie,
though invert;
Fire purifies, though it can devour,
and man is flawed by nature.
