Aglow Poem by Christina Simmons

Aglow

Do I frown?
Do I glow like the stars?
Am I sad?
Is it all smiles?
What did they do to that superb star?

Hidden and lost - does it show?
Torn to pieces never be found
Just wilting all day long - chanting....
Missing jigsaw is put together again....
What did they do to that superb star?

I'm a glowing bright-star
Setting the sky alight, sprinkling enchanting
Gold dust from above; falling on top of your head
Laughter and joy all around cause I'm really
Illuminating; I'm shining alright
Look to the sky and see me there

I'm smiling OK yeah! - Revealing white teeth
Wish you well - Wish me well too.
