Aging Mine Alas Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Aging Mine Alas

Alas, to gaze into a looking glass
Pray tell in reflection, can it be
A face unknown; Naught to ponder on
This aging face I see

Once upon before so long ago
In this mirror, young were we
Playing games to catch ourselves
Pretending differently

Thus 'then' and 'when' the looking glass
For now, or in a way some may agree
Changing mine, and then a win
The glass is cracked, not me
