Age To Youth Poem by Gillian Commerford

Age To Youth

You bring me love in a silver cup
and I bring you my hands that are worn
and a heart that's beginning to rust.

You bring me your trust
all untarnished
and your youth and your golden spear.

I bring you my years
and I bring you my tears
and my hopes that are turning to dust.
