Advantage Poem by Scott Michaud

You had a heart of gold.
When you helped the person out.
When something was upsetting to the person took it out on you.
Months without talking not da child you care about goes on four months or even longer.
When a person needs something the person came back around.
Until a situation comes along you end up not hearing from them.
When was confrontation the person did not want to hear what you had to say.
Feeling wounded why I did I feel this way have nothing just lose.
You never asked the person for anything kept your independence distance away was like more miles away.
Yet you did not want to be angry with the person just let it go.
Placing your foot down from here and out.
Should not be to their advantage have you go without.
