Adultery Poem by Ragy Sandid

Adultery

It’s a thought or a person or a wish
Then one day the deed is carried out
Whatever came hot is now a cold dish
And its time now to go kill the doubt

See what’s out there really waiting
On the street corner or behind the fashion
No more stating, anticipating and debating
But to exercise what only in books is called passion

It’s a body limit and the heart has no affair
But two bodies don’t confess to limits
One of them must ask for something not fair
One see the whole, the other sees the bits

The dreamers wish it a reality, the realists: gone
The dreamers see the painting
The realists see the artist time and effort done
See the ranting that came with the panting

One step forward and there’s a joining of forces
The force that drives one wild or mild
What’s left behind is hard to endorse
One line separates all, man, woman or child.
