Now the end has come
But why must you depart,
When there is still space in this world
For another Kindheart?
We have come a long way
How many storms have we weathered
Together, how much bliss have our hearts enjoyed,
For it all to end this way?
We did vow from the beginning never to say adieu
And if God decides otherwise,
Who are we, egotistic mortals, to challenge Him?
Does this mean our friendship simply dies?
Since we met, we've lived our lives together, all the way
As I hold your hand on your deathbed now,
I've only got this to say:
Tarry awhile, dear: our reunion is a while away!
Amen. I hope writing the poem helped to ease the heartache
A very sad melancholic poem with encaptivating impending adieu never desired or cherished yet we all at times have to face them.

I would like to translate this poem
It's pathetic to loss dear one. Beautiful piece!
Glad you thought so. Thanks for stopping by!
