Addict Poem by Antonia Nasi

Addict

30 white little pills,
Wrapped in a big orange bottle

30 white little pills,
There won't be as many tomorrow...

20 white little pills,
Wrapped in a big orange bottle

20 white little pills,
There won't be 20 tomorrow...

10 white little pills,
Wrapped in an Almost Empty Bottle

10 white little pills,
What will she do tomorrow?

1 white little pill,
In a big orange bottle

1 white little pill,
How will she wake up tomorrow?

No more white little pills,
Just a big empty bottle

No more white little pills,
She needs some money to borrow
