Abusive People Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

Abusive People

Rating: 4.5

The individuals, self-satisfaction of their own
Needs, desires, interests, and motives.

They use people to step on, to corrupt, to abuse.
Who have a good intention to help them
Because they need.

I make choices to support,
To give them the things they need.
Helping people doesn't mean I am righteous, but
Being good and giving affection in genuine action:
Because I understand them, I have been in the same
Struggle that they have been in.
I am humbled and thankful for these people,
I see their true colours.

I hope that I will never cross this kind of person again.
I stay within God's limit and focus on the purpose
He wants of me. The twisting of fate is around the corner,
Reaping what's been sown. Fools know no bounds.
