Absence: Despair Poem by ashok jadhav

Absence: Despair

Rating: 2.5

Alone in the night,
When stars seem bright,
The sky is blue,
And space around us is dark and white,
And I feel bliss in flying kites,

My days are lonely,
All ways are lonely,
I feel both glad and despair,
When you are rare,
But I feel pleasure,
With your presence only,

Seasons in life look so bare,
What of years,
When hours and minutes,
Minutes and seconds,
Even moment hours,
And moment of time do not care,

O' my dear, come soon here,
And let not delay,
Because presence of you,
Keeps me cheer,
And absence of you,
Spreads the despair,
And fills my eyes with,
Full of tears,
And makes my life,
As the great King Lear.
