Absence Poem by Daniel Isaac Gordon

Absence

Rating: 4.0

My life is a thrill
Yet I find myself, still
Desiring that you were near me,
So far from your kiss
My love is amiss
I can feel my soul is weary.

I miss you so much
Your voice and your touch
This world can be so unforgiving,
From what I can tell
Life without you is Hell;
The abyss between being and living.
