Abrupt Departure Poem by Linus Kithinji Njeru

Abrupt Departure

Happy and glad all to this lovely lady that nature brought,
a gift from wherever the distance, that I will always cherish, one that my heart yearns for, one that the future fully feels complete and continually brighten at her thought.

Leticia, my darling, is like a puff of wind,
with an accompanying breeze which on whomever it blows
follows the severely self-destructing river which never flows.
Never has the sizzling scent of a sweet or sweat,
escaped the nostrils of celebrities lying on the sand
nor has her deep feeling like teenage infatuations.

Ticia, sweet is not good enough a symbol for you are honey
Pure flower nectar extracted from great garden of money
with worldly hesitations from a jealous man meaning own
all the breath buying beauty that would wreck me into moan
drenched depressed distressed for the treasure gone.

Sunshine sunk with worrying dangerous dusk
that time you left my manhood triggered a protest
but streaming tears my ego controllably sustained,
Thirty three nights after the depressing departure I wept,
No single strain of our staff fun room romance remained,
For my super sweet melon had nothing for me left.

Dear God, to tell the truth, I can not tell the goodness
the loftiness and softness, kindness and aptness,
a friend like fire in the winter making my days warm.
But then I pray that you keep her safe
according to your will grant her happiness.
