You've uncorked me

Like a radiator leaking

Antifreeze, I'm spilling

All over the driveway

While you watch

From the parkway,

Lighter in your hands

Eyes I cannot see

Beneath a dark brim

But I cannot run

I welcome the flame,

Set me ablaze

I need this warmth

In my heart

Once more,

The only real

Feeling I've ever known,

Since I'll never bleed on you

Though the looking glass

Was sharp, leave me here

Spilt dropped splattered

Heart spread in cobblestone…
