A World Of Whispers - Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Listen to the whispered screams
of the victims
listen for the whispered confessions
of the guilty

Psycological whispering
in a world of pain
perpetrators and victims
all in fear of something

We are a world of whispers
everybody sees
but nobody tells

The metaphor used might be broad, but it came vivid in the context of the poem. It is good that you are a poet and you told us about whispers. A blessed Saturday! (Report) Reply
