A Woman Indeed Poem by Adams King

A Woman Indeed

Rating: 5.0

That a man enjoys the taste of heaven
While breath lingers in his nose
Has always been a fable to me

For after death the kingdom will be
Where there shall be fresh red roses
And trees of not a single rotten apple

Illusional pictures of love was all I had
I never believed In the reality of it
Yet I never stopped searching for love

You came to me like dew from above
And showed me angels still exist
Unlike the heartbroken tales I've heard

Beatrice, if heaven descends as a woman
It will come in your form, color and face
it light shall be the bright eyes of yours

You showered me love till it over-pours
You gave my life a meaningful taste
And brought out the god in a man

You're a paradise precious and priceless
A heaven above every other heavens
A woman with the golden heart of love

You melt me with your irresistible curve
Your smile with white teeth that sparkles
Sweet voice as that of a Greek goddess

You're a woman and a woman indeed
You're a music of endless ecstasy
A rhythm of unfailing passion

Beatrice I will give my undivided devotion
All you behold as far as you can see
For you've loved me in words and in deeds
