A Whole Lot In A Little While Poem by Gerald Opio

A Whole Lot In A Little While

Didn't go for quite long a time.
While I was driving back home.
From a tiring day of work,
I took an excursion.
To refresh my mind,
And relax my nerves a bit.
But for the trivial time I spent,
Out of the confines of our home.
You took advantage,
And stained our matrimonial bed.
By evincing your promiscuity.
Your lasciviousness sprout out.
The day I left for a while.
Catching you red-handed in the act,
impart a precipitous stroke on my heart.
My eyes couldn't comprehend;
The scenes of you and another,
On our bed that holds our vows.
Such a preposterous thing to do,
By one I trusted with my all.
My breath ceased for a moment,
And my heart was dessimated.
Couldn't feel my legs anymore,
Neither would I move my body.
Paralyzed I became.
Wondering!
how could...? ? ?
A whole lot
Change in a little while.
