A While Poem by Nicholas Hrynchuk

For months and months, almost a year
i have not posted on here
my pain, troubles, and fear
none mistaken for cheer

It's been a while
sometimes cracking a smile
putting memories into a mental file
and preferring to have them unopened for a very long while

Somethings are going right
i don't have to go a fight
there's actually a bit of a light
im almost floating like a kite

I feel like my life is actually mine
and that im going to be fine
and things are going in a straight line
and my life is gonna shine

She has made a small change
no matter what they say
its been a while
and i've kinda missed her
