A Wall Clock Poem by Akhtar Jawad

A Wall Clock

I am going to sleep for ever can you walk to me?
Though diificult is hearing, can you talk to me?
A midnight, lights are off, doors closed with a lock,
Nobody is waking but the voice of a wall clock,
That annoyed me through out my careless life,
Tiktok, ticktok, the sound with that I had a strife,
Mesmerized by the beaty of a day and a night,
End of my time ever remained out of the sight,
I'm sorry clock you looked like a boring friend,
I never knew you are my best adoring friend,
Loving like a mother and advising like a father,
Taking care like a sister helping like a brother!
