A True Horror Story Poem by Anand Dixit

A True Horror Story

Flash Floods, Tsunami
Earth Quakes, Volcanoes
Plagues, anthrax
Global warming, water level

The balance has shifted
We have done major damage
There is no damage control
Earth is burning, churning

There is no tomorrow,
Tomorrow may be gone
Glorious past, no future
A true horror story

We don’t have to pay
To watch horror movies
We are living in
The horror movie

you have a very good way of telling people your point of view. i think that your choice of words were awesome & that they even helped to emphasize the point you were trying to make.

Greenland was called Greenland for a reason Not because it was a brief change in season. This old world has seen before Much change (and there will be more.) Before we throw up our hands in despair It's time to think clearly (and be fair) . Is is necessary that things must be exactly as they are Or is change the best way to clear the air. Let's not celebrate beaches that are clean If they are only available to the condo owner's mien. And what of the coal that is lying there Electricity generation is there to share. Blame not the current inhabitants For tsunami and floods that happen by chance, Or plagues or other diseases that are rife That visit young and old alike For Mother Nature has a way Of weeding out the weak along the way. The world will be a better place to live When politicians finally give Way to the interest of those Who want to work and live with purpose And enjoy the benefits that accrue To those that free enterprise, pursue. s
