A Toy Poem by Ejaz Khan

A Toy

Rating: 2.1

Alluring, self-absorbed
Perfidious, conceited
Deprived of candour
An insignificant drop
In a boundless ocean
Ignorant of the fact
Out there in realm of deceit
He’s nothing
But a puppet on a string
Just a toy
In hands of gods
All fragile, all vulnerable
With free will or without
As the true meanings
Of principle divine
Remain hidden from his perception

a perfect poem ejaz! man as a micrcosm seems almost insignificant in the macrocosm.surely he has a identity amongst all beings, and god holds the strings individually, pushing, pulling and propelling, as puppets or you can say kites.dancing to his tune.as usual a wise write from you........best wishes ritty
