A Thin Varnish. Very Thin Poem by Lev Brekhman

A Thin Varnish. Very Thin

Under all this glitter-lacquer,
Dark instincts a-crawl, fester.
Yes, a man is 'double-decker',
God was surely the jester.
Eating, drinking, fuсking, too -
Overwhelm the soul.
Not the old 'tea-for-two',
Guzzle the life a-whole.
