But you feel more real
Than the one who was supposed to

You’re the one who
Helped me, held my hand
Like the one who was supposed to

I love you more
Than the one who ran
Like they weren’t supposed to

Its nice to have
One you can hold on to
Not like the one who was supposed to

It took me time
To adjust to change
From the one who was supposed to

Thank you very much
For being there for me
Like the one who was supposed to

You are better
Than the one who was supposed to

And now I’d rather you
To the one who was supposed to

Like I should have done in the first place,
because just because we're the same
dosn't mean you love me
a stranger could love me more.
