A group of souls
stood under the shade
of an era
watching those nightingales
in their cage....
May I know them.
They are just a step
far away from
delightfulness
then flying in a new sky.
Those souls
who are awake
only need a second rest
from thinking
as they became pessimistic
with the long dark winter's nights
and hopeless
with the burning summer's
Sunshine.

Souls on earth! ! ! ! Muse of mankind on earth, Delightfulness. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Part Two. Nightingales and their promise of freedom and the young men both seem " just a step / far away from delightfulness / then flying in a new sky." The young men haven't grown bitter and pessimistic yet so they sense and desire the simple joy of open range and open expression and I pray they keep the purity of their soul and fly out of any cage laid to trap them 10++++++++
Part One. Here I am again. This poem calls me. I don't know if I follow but what I am drawn to is the nightingales- and the souls who watch them in their cages... and I wonder who is most in a cage- the nightingales or the young men....

A revisit of this great poem gave me the opportunity to think over and ponder the wonderful thoughts of the brilliant Poet. And I reiterate my previous comment that it is a poem of great depth. I concur with the comments of Poet Bangalee more particularly the second stanza. Beautifully written. To my Poem List.
