A Statue Cries Poem by Dr John Celes

A Statue Cries

Bloody tears from nose and eyes,
When a lady has;
Reveals her anguished heart and pain:
Extreme sufferings, Alas!

Bloody tears from nose and eyes,
Shows a broken heart;
God knows all strife, travail and woes
That has become life’s part.

Bloody tears from nose and eyes,
Speaks of hurt that’s deep;
May be, she lost her loved family,
Alone she can but weep!

Bloody tears from nose and eyes,
Madonna much cries;
Reflecting world immersed in sin,
As hell’s loosened from skies!

Beautiful poem with a great meaning. Seeing the anguished pain even a statue will cry, but not humans.... Loved reading it.
