A Starry Memory Poem by Abdalla Juma Shenga

A Starry Memory

It was as if the wind, had blown
Stardust in my eyes enchanting me,
With such charm upon perception
Of beauty, so luminously displayed,
Fillling me with awe and wonder.
So lit was the sky, on a full moon
With sparkled dots of stars and nothing.
Nothing more than the embrace of love,
Gentled by a soft wrap of her arm.
What more could I ask for?
Than this starry moment,
To pacify my oldness when regrets
Reap through my dying memory.

Good poem. Full of emotion and flows to a crescendo with lovely imagery and metaphors
