A Starry Connection

A star has fallen off the sky
I know not where, when or why -
Last night I had seen him burn all bright
But now he has gone out of sight.
Perhaps he had had a glorious end
Or maybe a dark sombre descend -
Alas, though I didn't knew the star that fell
Yet I knew of him and that makes my heart ache like hell.
