A Special World - Saying I Do (N/M) Poem by Daniel Richards

A Special World - Saying I Do (N/M)

A Special World

A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.

Saying I Do

Saying I do
Is more than saying I love you
It goes beyond describing how my love is true
Because words are not enough to express my love for you.

Saying I do
Is like saying I am here for you
That I am ready to see what the future may bring
Because we are together in everything.

Saying I do
Is saying I am now complete because of you
That the pieces of the puzzle called 'my life'
Becomes a beautiful picture called 'our love'.

And now I am saying 'I DO'
As I walk down the aisle with you
This is a lifetime promise that I will hold
A promise I make until we grow old.
