A Special Person I'Ve Met Poem by Rachel Blank

I’ve never met anyone like this before
You make me laugh and smile
The most I ever have in a while
It’s like this unexplainable feeling inside of me
Whenever I’m with you I feel at peace
I feel so comfortable talking to you
Like I can pour all my thoughts and feelings out
Expressing my feelings used to be so hard
But talking to you, its like natural- it’s easy
Hearing your voice or getting to see you
Has become one of my favorite things to do
It’s what always keeps me looking forward to something
I can always talk to you about serious matters
Or just do something funny and enjoy our laughter
There are very few people I can act this way
Not many people see me as being the “true me”
But with you, I feel so… free
You really are an amazing person
