A Spark of the Brain

Through the rain drops, I see the sun set

The most beautiful thing I've seen yet

It's so simple, but so precise

Makes you wonder about how you're living life

Dying to live, or living to die

The reason why is a small piece of the pie

Cause when the snow melts and the birds sing

My mind concludes to one thing

When does it all end, and how did it all start

Is the answer out there or is it in our hearts

And what is it that we're searching for

Could be the number of the girl who works at the local record store

If you think you know the answer, go ahead and think twice

The answer isn't meant to be found and can't be bought at any price

Cause what's a chase without pursuit?

And what's the point of a journey with a set route?

Don't try to find the answer that the world poses

Just try to kick back - go outside and smell the roses

And that's the real deal, at least in my reality

A world of morality with no fatalities

Look at nature, it's the circle of life

When to live and die was the only strife

Now in today’s world, we got genocide

Who has time to sit down with a neighbor and confide

The fact is: we don't, we just kill each other

No more time to learn about one another

And to add to it, want to know the crying shame

Set aside the skin colour and governments and we're all the same

Thank God for the little things that brings us together

Even if it's just a comment on the beautiful weather

So when the sun rises, I'm glad it brings a new day

Because the same old same shit was getting boring anyway

When looking at life through a window, look in a new view

And the old lady down the street won't feel like such a shrew

Found the answer to life yesterday

Written on a scrap piece of paper floating my way

I tore it up and threw it away

Carried on with the day - went outside and started to play
