A Soul So Heaven Sent Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

A Soul So Heaven Sent

Her beautiful face appear from shadows.
Her eyes were like golden stars hanging on blue chandeliers.
They were mirrors that revealed to me,
her soul.
I saw the shining diamonds and I was tempted to pick.
Humility was painted all over and I could not take a risk of letting the opportunity pass.
I had to make it known that I am deeply moved by this wonderful art of nature.
The thrill my heart experience was so powerful and it's when I realized that I am touched by an angel.

And I wrote this song
As a testimony
With my soul in harmony,
All the conflicts cured
My sad heart, from pain was saved by this a wonder I dreamt of in my teenage days. A wonder that speaks my language of wisdom. Like a well of sweet waters where my thirsty soul quenches. And my dirty laundry, it helps me clean with patience.

A soul so heaven sent
A benediction that came
After so many years of praying
And finally, the answer was delivered
To the shores of my desires

A soul so heaven sent
A marvel; A thrill to my soul
A piece which fits into my deeper feeling
Euphoria cables; joy distributor
And drains out pain from my nerves and veins
