A Sonnet To Ellen Poem by Zayne Venilos

A Sonnet To Ellen

Rating: 5.0

And just like the sun
She shines so bright
while I sit here beside her till it turns to night
staring in her hazel eyes
while the moon turns the tides
and when our lips met in such a passionate kiss
I felt like I was floating on a cloud of infinite bliss
while the tides gently go out and hide

This girl is beautiful in every way
the way she holds my hand
and looks me in the eye
while we sit on picnic tables by the bay
and maybe one day we'll sit together in sand
but we'll have to wait another day; till I can look you in your beautiful eyes
