A song is like a dream
in giving you its touch,
and what did only seem
You've learned much.
In its simple melody
you remember still,
what it is to be free
and your dreams to fill.

Everything's changing
in a world that goes on,
dreams of ours arranging
that never is really done.
And feelings are the same
with each touch and smile,
they have a burning flame
that stays on for a while.

A song is like a stream
a river that goes on,
a sunny summer's beam
that gives a touch till gone.
The truth be told in there
in all its simplicity,
so, you'll learn and share
what it is to be free.

And now you have a song
to raise your voice too,
in dreams that you do long
and mean a lot to you.
I hope it is for freedom
that you are singing about,
for it's the fairest bloom
when you are in your doubt.
