A Soiled Handkerchief Poem by sreelekha premjit

A Soiled Handkerchief

a casual comment
a violent upheaval
anger, shame
churning wild

a seed is sown
doubt, remorse
assault the mind
rock the faith

clouded landscape
dark and stormy
heavy downpour
a soiled handkerchief.

Well expressed. Says a lot in a small space.
