A Season Of Sore Throats Poem by Terence George Craddock

A Season Of Sore Throats

beware it is the season of sore throats
spring keeps springing back to winter
spring keeps springing forward to summer
wet to dry raining cold to hot weather perils
wake up decision time dress cold dress warm
wake up to shift cold hot hot cold daily shifts
still the rain slowly softly falls all day today
tomorrow will then be a hot summers day

the next two days back to rain rain rain forecast
rain it is raining raining raining hard now
within an hour or so it will be clearing clearing
then sun will come out hot for awhile awhile
then wind will come up blowing off sea on land
this is spring a nasty wet spring this year so far
