Rasgulla-
Authors defined it.
Did not taste sweet.
Scientists classified it,
Still no effect.
Philosophers placed papers
on it, still no taste.
Painters painted it,
Sketched it,
News papers had ads
Hunger increased
no taste.
Physicians prohibited it
to diabetics,
demand increased,
no improvement.
Poets served in plates
of words with
spoons of imageries great
still no taste.
But when my mom
cooked it in the kitchen
and placed one, over
my tongue...
Presto..
it was as so sweet
As sweet as nectar
A sweet Rasgulla.
it was as so sweet As sweet as nectar A sweet Rasgulla. Thank you for your beautiful poem shared. Mitra. 10+++++++

An object of desire renders its real taste when it is tried in reality. Imaginations and description often do little help. But when my mom cooked it in the kitchen and placed one, over my tongue... Presto.. it was as so sweet As sweet as nectar A sweet Rasgulla. 10+++++ for the sweetness you rendered.
