If you walk out into the street
Holding that big gun in your hand
You had better assume that
Everybody thinks
That you are looking
For a gunfight

And somebody just might
Get shot on the spot!
Ain't nobody afraid
Of that gun
Ain't nobody
Ready to run!

If you want to
Have a real gunfight!
You had better
Have some real bullets
In your gun!

If you want a real gunfight
You had better assume
That everybody knows
Just where
You are coming from!
