A Question Of Taste Poem by archie langford

A Question Of Taste

Rating: 5.0

In my youth I wrote the songs
That no one cared to sing,
I carted them around Denmark street
And never sold a thing.
And so it is my friends
That I can only say
In those days they had much more taste
Than they have got today

Archie, I know the feeling only so well. I used to send my songs along to Denmark Street, and like you never had an acceptance at all. But one I liked so much I couldn't bare to see it hidden, that I dropped the chorus line and put up here as a poem. Wonders be, it is the best read poem I have up here. Thanks for sharing this may friend. David
