A Poem To My Pet Dog

When you barked,
Life sparked,
People marked,
You stayed with us for ten long years,
You played with us with fun that cheers,
With you, we never feared any danger,
You guarded our house from every stranger;
You were there,
Teeth bared
For our care,
A member of our family,
We all loved you exceedingly,
God saved you two times from clutches of death,
But now you're gone, we have no other pet;
When you died,
We cried
Deep inside,
Unshed tears still stab at our hearts,
It can be difficult to part,
Looking back at life with unsmiling eyes,
Bogged down by memories, we try to rise.
MISS YOU VICKY😢
