A Place For You Poem by Hillary Unknown

A Place For You

I’m getting stronger, dear
I’m no longer intimidated
By you and my fears

I no longer feel the need
To be treated like dirt
That’s just there
Under your feet

I have a backbone
You told me so before
I’ll stand up and be strong
Because you weren’t wrong

I never thought it’d turn on you
You, my best friend,
Were never suppose to make me feel this blue

I’m to the point
Where it hurts for you to come to mind
And I just start to cry
No matter where I am
No matter what I do
There’s always going to be
A place for you…
