A Picture Puzzle Poem by cheryl davis miller

A Picture Puzzle

Rating: 3.5

Why should it be that family
would be the cause of pain to me?
Those the closest that I know;
would deal this painful blow?
``````````````
Why should my own neighborhood;
be where I'm most misunderstood?
Why those with whom I share a name
scramble in line to lay blame?
``````````````
This picture puzzle; puzzles me
the answer I do long to see.
For somehow it occurred to me
I would be safe with family.
