A Movement Away Poem by Jesse Tampa

A Movement Away

She loves another
My heart takes cover
Fearful I am
Of holding her hand
She’s so special to me
Lovely is her beauty
Her enchanting smile
It drives me wild
Afraid to undress
My cloak of coveredness
I’m not in her league
I must take off with speed
And leave my feelings behind
To them she is blind
Though I will not forget
She’ll have happiness yet
