A Most Humble Jewel Poem by Garrett Westcott

A Most Humble Jewel

Waiting the advent of the Messiah
Waiting for our King to rule
We found our Lord and Savior
To be a most humble jewel
More brilliant than a sapphire
More precious than a rose
But so gentle of a Master
He did not arrive in royal robes
His people did not receive Him
Their names to Him unknown
But to those who call Him Teacher
His voice is the music of our home
