A Monkey's Uncle Poem by Bobby Mitchum

A Monkey's Uncle

If Darwin was right
and he might have been,
we were once monkey's
instead of Men,
we sat around chattering
from dawn till dusk,
getting nothing done
but making a big fuss,
the more I think about it
the more it seems true,
that I'm a Monkey's Uncle
and so are You.
