A Moment In Silence Poem by marissa c baker

A Moment In Silence

Rating: 4.5

Soothing tranquility
I believe
The words of passion
I can breathe

From the soft spoken whisper of the wind
To the relaxation of the waves crashing in
It seems as if it is forever and a remembrance for the moment because
I found the meaning of purpose, your love

Is something I have patiently waited on
And the water through my toes are slowly vanishing, almost gone
The presence I can sense with my eyes closed
As there are flashbacks of the moments we hold

Now with this flower petal in my hair
Gazing at the gorgeous sunset that for a moment is a warm stare
Anything that can relax you as much as the one you keep private
The delicate occurances of this joyous moment of silence...
