A Moment Poem by Cleveland W. Gibson

A Moment

Rating: 5.0

Look God,
I met you but a moment,
my cry is never the same,
I feasted well on wonder,
As within I echo your name.
*
Listen God,
My life became a box of skills,
such talent hid there from view
until in a precious moment,
good things came from you.
*
I Know God,
A double - win my mission
for me and others to smile.
Stop. Look at their reactions
as they pass by the aisle.
*
So God,
I've met many a stranger,
been shaken by a bad look,
Yet love makes us brothers.
You wrote it in Life's Book.
