silent pictures
a world in a frame

a moment in time
always the same

there you are
just like yesterday

with the same silly grin
and your hair the same way

you haven't moved
you haven't changed

and yet something in me
has been rearranged

as if blown by a summer wind
through an open door

for when i look at you now
i love you more

and as time goes by
i'm certain that i will

love you and miss you
even more still.
