A Mermaid's Life
Full moon nights,
Time when I feel most alive.
Rising high above the waters deep,
While the world sleeps.
Letting go of any inhibitions,
All the things holding me back,
I am free to do what I please,
It's when I am the queen of the seven seas.
Days of solitude,
Filled with gratitude,
For it's my home,
Where I can truly be myself.
