A Light Heart Poem by Doug Bri

A Light Heart

This poem is dedicated to all the girls out there that haven't let go of their past.

One good night, One painful morning
An amazing love and a bitter ending

The shadows of your pain, the hollow shell of your being
Your beautiful smile that hides the tears.
That hides your pains and your fears.
A hidden glimpse of hope, a small voice of desire

A strong front, and a stronger character
A sad heart and a broken heart
Hidden tears, and a broken smile

Shattered dreams a lightly dimmed desires

Waiting for someone to come by and heal your heart little by little
Unwantingly, unwillingly and yet so readying
Fears that feed on a desire

And a young man; who is willing to help

Show him some kindness, Show him some tenderness
A little affection just as much as he is giving you.

Love yourself, So you can love another,
Live as you've always wanted, before you let another

Take you by your hand and reintroduce you to love...
